R.N., LNC

Susan Sova, RN, brings more than 36 years of extensive clinical nursing experience to her role as a Nurse Consultant at Knapp & Roberts.

A graduate of the Nursing class of 1987, Susan has dedicated over half of her distinguished career to acute care specialties, including adult cardiac ICU, medical ICU, surgical trauma ICU, and neonatal ICU. Her decade-long tenure in fertility nursing—as both a clinic RN and an IVF Nurse Coordinator—remains among her most cherished professional experiences, particularly due to the rapid advancements she witnessed firsthand in infertility patient care.

Born and raised along Michigan’s picturesque west coast, Susan spent her formative years immersed in outdoor water activities, developing a lifelong love for swimming, boating, and fishing. Her adult journey led her across numerous states and even overseas to Taiwan, ultimately guiding her to Arizona, where she has resided happily for the past ten years. Susan fondly refers to herself as a “geographical mutt,” yet proudly considers Arizona her permanent home.

Susan’s dedication extends beyond nursing into passionate advocacy for veterans’ rights and the disabled community. Coming from a military family, she has been honored to actively participate in our firm’s efforts related to Camp Lejeune litigation, seeking justice for affected veterans and their families. Her membership in the American Legion Auxiliary further reflects her deep commitment to veteran support.

Susan’s own personal experience as a workplace accident survivor in 2015 profoundly shaped her perspective on patient advocacy, empowering her to passionately champion the rights of injured and disabled workers. Living by her philosophy of never looking back, always moving forward, and counting every blessing, Susan brings exceptional compassion, tenacity, and insight to her role in advocating for personal injury clients.
